Snowbasin’s Discovery Season Pass Now on Sale!

Snowbasin is proud to introduce the new Discovery Pass Program for the upcoming 2013/14 Winter Season. The Discovery Pass program gives several options for skiers and riders to enjoy all that Snowbasin has to offer. Beginning March 23rd, Snowbasin’s Discovery Pass can be purchased online through Snowbasin’s eStore or in person at Earl’s Lodge between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm ending on September 2nd.

The Discovery Value Pass is available for a limited time for only $489. The Value Pass contains some restrictions including holiday blackout dates. For those people who want to enjoy Snowbasin every day of the season we offer the Discovery Premier Pass. The Premier Pass offers unlimited skiing and riding at Snowbasin, 2013 summer gondola use, a $159 rate on hotel rooms at Sun Valley Lodge or Inn during the 2013-14 ski season on a space available basis, a 15% discount on winter repairs in the Grizzly Center, two 50% off buddy vouchers, and tubing hill discounts. The Premier Pass is available for $649 with no blackout dates.  Finally, when you purchase any 2013/2014 Discover Pass you will be able to ski the rest of the 2012/2013 winter season!

John Paul Restaurant Reduced Services

John Paul Lodge will be reducing its restaurant services for the remainder of the 2012-13 season. John Paul will be offering Pizza & Soups Monday Through Friday with Grill Items, Pizza, & Soups on Saturdays and Sundays.  Pasta and Salad items will no longer be offered at John Paul Lodge for the remainder of the 2012-13 season.

Starting Monday, April 1st, John Paul Lodge be offering cold snacks only for the remainder of the 2012-2013 season.

Lukas Nelson VIP tickets are now available in person only beginning at the Season Pass Desk Earl’s Lodge.  $20 plus tax to the first 110 guests.  Limit 6 per person.

Hill Air Force Base Ski Day

Snowbasin Resort will be hosting a ski day for Hill Air Force Base on Friday, March 29th.  Lift tickets cost $56 and are “ONLY” available at Hill AFB Tickets & Travel (801-777-2225) now through March 28th.  People will not be able to purchase tickets the day of or at Snowbasin.  For more information please contact HAFB Tickets & Travel or Meredith Fetters at 801.620.1081

Snowbasin Blood Drive March 7th

Snowbasin will be hosting a blood drive on Thursday March 7th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Huntington Room of Earl’s Lodge. To make an appointment, please contact Steward Marsh at 801.710.6797.  Contributors need the following to participate: Photo ID, minimum of 110 pounds, 18 years old or older,  remember to eat well and drink extra fluids before.

Your blood donation will benefit patients being treated at:

- Primary Children’s Medical Center

-Hunstman Cancer Hospital

-Shriners Hospital for Children

-University of Utah Hospital

-South Jordan Health Center

Limited Access Trails March 1st – 3rd

Snowbasin will be hosting a Super G Race Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the John Paul Area of the resort for ages 14 and under.   We will have some of the following trails either closed or with limited access. Starting at the bottom Wildflower Run accessed continuing down Draba Drop along with City Hill will be closed to the public.  You will still be able to ski Wildflower but will need to exit through Parson’s Run to Blue Grouse. Once on Blue Grouse you will have skier’s right side access into Showboat accessing Little Cat Terrain Park and the bottom of Wildcat Bowl leading to the base area.  For any other information please contact Snowsports Learning Center 801.620.1015 or our general information line 801.6201000.

Snowbasin’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt March 31st

 Bring your Easter baskets and get ready for some fun!!! You might even see someone very special hopping around, so don’t forget your cameras!

 Hunts will start promptly on the north-east side of the Grizzly Center.

Mother’s Day Brunch Sunday May 12th

There is no better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than to take your mom to brunch at Earl’s Lodge on Sunday, May 12th.  Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and elegance of Earl’s Lodge while dining on plates from leg of lamb to crepes (Click HERE for full menu). This grand buffet will also be complemented with live music.

Cost for the buffet is $42.50 for adults, $15 for children ,6 to 12 years old, and no charge for children under 6. Reservations may be made from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Seating is limited so please call for reservations at 801-620-1021.
