In this race you will be able to experiences it all the Snowbasin has to offer with rolling meadows, scenic canyons, and abundant wildlife. Whether you’re admiring the views of Pineview Reservoir , climbing the peaks above Earl’s Lodge or passing through the wildflowers in the sweeping meadow of Porcupine loop, each trail will give you a new and unique perspective of the Wasatch Mountains.
In between runs you will experience Ragnar Village at its finest, complete with a central fire, s’mores, live music, and dining at Earl’s Lodge. Join us for this unforgettable adventure in the peaks of the Wasatch Mountains.

Ragnar’s Wasatch Back Relay will be celebrating its 10th year this summer and Snowbasin Resort is proud to be one of its major exchange points. June 20th and 21st you will be able to cheer your favorite runner, team, or just support the event as a whole as participants come through Snowbasin’s Earl’s Lodge base area. The Wasatch Back Relay is a 198.3-mile race that consists of multiple relay teams of 12 runners. Teams will rock out to live bands, enjoy the wacky participant costumes, and make life-long friends with teammates and competitors. Teams will party along the backside of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains from Logan to Park City, Utah via Snowbasin over this four day race.
Lukas Nelson, with his band Promise of the Real, return to Snowbasin Resort to play a FREE outdoor concert on the Patio of Earl’s Lodge as part of our Blues, Brews, & BBQ Sunday Concert Series on June 30th. For those not familiar with Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real they have played festivals and concerts all over the US bringing a high power Blues & Rock n Roll performance to the stage that is hard to match. But,the entertainment does not stop there opening for Lukas is Andy Frasco and the UN with their own amazing stage presence of Party Blues and fun for all to enjoy. Andy & the UN will start at 12:30pm with Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real at 3:30pm.

Snowbasin is proud to announce the 2013 Blues, Brews, & BBQ’s summer entertainment list. Join us every Sunday from noon until 5:00 pm as we transform the Patio at Earl’s Lodge into a “FREE” concert venue that takes-on an inspiring festival-like atmosphere. Both Nationally touring artists as well as regionally touring acts take the stage as headliners while local musical artists will open the afternoon with a set of their own. Besides the great FREE music, there will be hearty and delicious BBQ inspired entrees complemented by local Utah Craft Beers. So, bring your blankets, chairs and sunglasses to enjoy the afternoon of good food and music for the whole family!
As winter creeps to an end and spring starts to blossom, it’s almost time for the 2012-2013 winter season to come to a close. Snowbasin will be celebrating this season with a “Totally Rad End of Season Throwdown.” This event will be taking place the last two weekends of the season, April 6th & 7th and April 13th & 14th. We encourage everyone to dress up in their best throwback 80′s attire and live it up like it’s 1985 all over again. The festivities will begin Saturday April 6th with spring skiing, delicious food and a barbeque on Earl’s Patio, a reggae mix from the Nate Robinson Trio, and the opportunity for you to strike a pose in our Totally Rad 80′s Retro Photo Booth. But, the party does not stop there, we will be picking up the party again on April 13th with the FREE concert featuring Fox Street All Stars playing a funky groove for everyone to enjoy beginning at 3:00 pm. Finally, on April 14th Snowbasin Resort’s last day of the 2012-13 winter season we will be celebrating with a DJ & costume contest turning the party up! The costume contest will begin at 2 pm on Earl’s Patio with fun prizes for the best and raddest costumes on all the mountain.

The Discovery Pass program gives several options for skiers and riders to enjoy all that Snowbasin has to offer. Beginning March 23rd, Snowbasin’s Discovery Pass can be purchased online through Snowbasin’s eStore or in person at Earl’s Lodge between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm ending on April 14th.

The Discovery Value Pass is available for a limited time for only $449. The Value Pass contains some restrictions including holiday blackout dates. For those people who want to enjoy Snowbasin every day of the season we offer the Discovery Premier Pass. The Premier Pass offers unlimited skiing and riding at Snowbasin, 2013 summer gondola use, a $159 rate on hotel rooms at Sun Valley Lodge or Inn during the 2013-14 ski season on a space available basis, a 15% discount on winter repairs in the Grizzly Center, two 50% off buddy vouchers, and tubing hill discounts. John Paul will be offering Pizza & Soups Monday Through Friday with Grill Items, Pizza, & Soups on Saturdays and Sundays. Pasta and Salad items will no longer be offered at John Paul Lodge for the remainder of the 2012-13 season.
