Annual Snowdance and Auction

The Ogden Valley Business Association is excited to announce a new date and new beneficiary for their Annual Snowdance and Auction, which will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012. The Snowdance, in its 10th year, is an elegant evening of entertainment and fine dining that celebrates the ski season.  It will be held at Earl’s Lodge at Snowbasin Resort.  Silent and live auctions, music, delicious fare from Snowbasin chefs, and award winning programs and speakers will combine for what will once again be a memorable evening. The festivities begin at 6:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Snowbasin Adaptive Sports Education Foundation and TheOgden Valley Business Association.

The keynote address will be presented by former paralympian, Chris Waddell.

Chris Waddell was a promising young skier at Middlebury College in 1988 when a skiing accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. Determined to get back on the slopes, he began skiing on a monoski roughly one year later. A little more than two years later, Waddell was named to the US Disabled Ski Team. Waddell went on to become the most decorated male skier in Paralympic history, winning twelve medals over four games, and spending a total of 11 years on the US Disabled Ski Team.

Tickets are now on sale at www.ovba.org. Individual tickets are $75, premiere seating is $100 and tables of 10 are $750 and $1,000.
