Learn about purchasing, preparing, cooking, and eating wonderful items from the sea such as lobster, clams, mussels, oysters and shrimp!
Learn how to:
- Properly clean and inspect shellfish
- Prepare ingredients using multiple techniques such as boiling, broiling, steaming & sauteing
- Pair shellfish with various herbs, vegetables, and starches
- Prepare cocktails that compliment these wonderful treats from the sea
A ‘mocktail’ bar will be available for learning how to make and taste cocktails at no cost and the same real cocktails will be available for purchase.
The shellfish cooking class will be just $45 per person and includes all food and ‘mocktails’.
It will be at Earl’s Lodge at 6:30 pm on July 18th, 2014.
