On a Snowbasin guided tour you can learn about what the resort has to offer during the summer. Discover Snowbasin’s extensive history, the science of snowmaking, or see what wildlife comes out when all the snow melts. Meet your tour guide every Saturday and Sunday at 1pm at the Moose in front of Earl’s Lodge from June 22nd through September 29th. How A Ski Lift Works
Join one of our most popular hikes and learn what makes our lift go round and round. Tour lift terminals, lift shacks, motor rooms and the world famous Needles Parking Garage. Your Lift Maintenance Guide will explain the principles of ski lift operations and help you appreciate your ride to the top.

For an elevated dining experience in the summer, enjoy a mountain-top dinner on Saturday evenings from 5:30 to 9:00 pm starting June 30th. Be sure to catch the Strawberry Gondola this weekend. With the season winding down, the Strawberry Gondola will no longer be running after Sunday, April 3rd. All area adult lift ticket prices will be reduced to $54 dollars on April 4th.
Snowbasin is offering a resort orientation for foot passengers every day at 10:30 a.m. Guests will take a tour of the base facilities, then take a complimentary gondola ride to Needles Lodge for refreshments. To participate, meet a Guest Services representative in the lobby of Earl’s Lodge at 10:30 a.m.
The Becker and Porcupine lifts will be opening this weekend along with Needles Gondola, John Paul Express Quad and Middle Bowl Triple. Also, the Earl’s Lodge Servery, Cinnabar Lounge and Needles Lodge will be offering full menus. John Paul Lodge will be open and will be serving a partial menu. Full lift ticket prices will begin tomorrow (Dec. 18th).
Last chance for Sunday barbecue, gondola and early season pass discounts! Come up Oct. 3rd to purchase your season pass and use it to take a ride on the gondola. The fall leaves are perfect! Barbecue hours will be from 12 – 4 p.m.
