Ragnar’s Wasatch Back Relay June 20th & 21st

Ragnar’s Wasatch Back Relay will be celebrating its 10th year this summer and Snowbasin Resort is proud to be one of its major exchange points. June 20th and 21st you will be able to cheer your favorite runner, team, or just support the event as a whole as participants come through Snowbasin’s Earl’s Lodge base area. The Wasatch Back Relay is a 198.3-mile race that consists of multiple relay teams of 12 runners. Teams will rock out to live bands, enjoy the wacky participant costumes, and make life-long friends with teammates and competitors. Teams will party along the backside of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains from Logan to Park City, Utah via Snowbasin over this four day race.

Snowbasin Blood Drive March 7th

Snowbasin will be hosting a blood drive on Thursday March 7th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Huntington Room of Earl’s Lodge. To make an appointment, please contact Steward Marsh at 801.710.6797.  Contributors need the following to participate: Photo ID, minimum of 110 pounds, 18 years old or older,  remember to eat well and drink extra fluids before.

Your blood donation will benefit patients being treated at:

-University of Utah Hospital

Mother’s Day Brunch Sunday May 12th

There is no better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than to take your mom to brunch at Earl’s Lodge on Sunday, May 12th.  Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and elegance of Earl’s Lodge while dining on plates from leg of lamb to crepes (Click HERE for full menu). This grand buffet will also be complemented with live music.

Easter Sunday Brunch March 31st

Welcome the springtime in style with the annual Snowbasin Easter Buffet on Sunday, March 31st. The buffet is a pleasure to both the eye as well as the palate featuring ice sculptures and culinary items such as slow roasted top round of beef au jus, made to order omelettes, a seafood display and a holiday bread and cookie display (see the full menu HERE).

Flying Kangaroos at The FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships and Autograph Signing Feb 3rd

The Australian Women’s Aerial Ski Team, also known as “The Flying Kangaroos” will be competing this Friday, February 1st at the annual FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships taking place at Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resorts. Come cheer on Snowbasin’s international partners in their breathtaking aerials for a high flying experience you’ll never forget.

In addition, The Flying Kangaroos will be at Snowbasin on Sunday, February 3rd to meet the public and sign autographs in Earl’s Lodge from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

About the Flying Kangaroos and Snowbasin:

The Flying Kangaroos have made Snowbasin their North American Home Resort since 2003. The team of young women includes World Champions and Olympic Medalists including two gold and a silver in Vancouver 2010. These women will be working on their technical skiing skills, aerial jumping, and simply skiing different types of terrain at Snowbasin. They’ll be easy to recognize in their Australian ski team uniforms.

Annual Snowdance Fundraiser and Auction Jan 12th

The Ogden Valley Business Association and The Snowbasin Adaptive Sports
Education Foundation are hosting the Annual Snowdance and Auction on
Saturday, January 12, 2013. This event, in its eleventh year, is a
fundraising dinner and auction held in Earl’s Lodge at Snowbasin Ski Resort.
Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. Proceeds from the event will be used to
enhance the programs of The Snowbasin Adaptive Sports Education Foundation
and to further the goals of The Ogden Valley Business Association.

Brewmaster’s Dinner January 18th

Join Snowbasin for a delicious dining experience, with each course paired with a Uinta Brewing beer. Thanksgiving Day Opening

Snowbasin will be opening in just under a week, November 22nd, for Skiing and Snowboarding conditions permitting.  The annual Thanksgiving Dinner at Earl’s Lodge has sold out!, but food will be served from a limited menu at Needles Lodge on Thanksgiving Day.

We will be updating lift ticket pricing, trail openings and conditions early next week.

Snowbasin’s Annual Christmas Eve Celebration

Snowbasin will be hosting our annual Christmas Eve Celebration on December 24. Following a day of skiing with Santa, Christmas Eve dinner will be served in Earl’s Lodge from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a choice of classic roasted turkey with cranberry cornbread stuffing ($16); roasted pork loin with apples, corn bread stuffing, mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetable($18); Cost for children 12 and under is $7.50. Fresh bread pudding or fruit crisp will also be available for $2.50.

Festivities will include a torchlight parade with more than 50 skiers at 6:00 pm followed by fireworks at 6:15 pm ending with  Santa’s arrival to Earl’s Plaza by sleigh at 6:25 p.m.
