Help Snowbasin fill a gondola with food this weekend!

Beating Hunger By A Mile Food Drive Join with Snowbasin in filling a gondola car…Or as many as we can.  With non-perishable food items to donate to the Utah Food Bank.We NEED your help to feed people that are in trouble. No it’s not November yet, but the cupboards are empty and the need is NOW.

Please bring a bag of non-perishable food and receive a one free gondola lift ticket good for the rest of the summer season (exp Oct 7th).  All items need to be dropped off by September 18th at the Season Pass desk in Earl’s Lodge.

All the donated food will be taken to Salt Lake and lined up along the sidewalk from the City & County Building to the State Capitol… one whole mile! That’s a lot of food so we need your help!

September is Hunger Action Month all across the nation, you may not realize it, but Utah is ranked #4 in the nation for the highest rate of very low food security.  In fact, one in eight Utah children live in poverty, and 400,000 Utahans are at risk of skipping or missing a meal each day.
