2nd Annual Adaptive Sports Winter Carnival

Come to Snowbasin on Saturday March 19th for the 2nd annual Snowbasin Adaptive Foundation Carnival and Demo Day.  If you were here for the Carnival last year, you know how much fun was had by all.  This year the Foundation is committed to raising $5000 to purchase a mono-ski.  We will have fun booths for the kids, prize giveaways, hot dogs and cotton candy, music and more.

We are also very fortunate to have the generous support of many of our local ski industry partners who are sponsoring a Demo Day.  For a $10 donation you will be able demo equipment from at least 8 different companies.  All of the proceeds from the Carnival and Demo will benefit the Snowbasin Adaptive Sports Educational Foundation to help people with disabilities have an on snow experience.

More Info on the Adaptive Program:

Have you seen the bi-ski on the hill and wondered about our adaptive program?  The Snowbasin Adaptive Sports Educational Foundation was started in 2009 to provide an on snow experience for people of all ages with disabilities.  Since 2009 we have grown our program, purchased specialized equipment, and provided lessons and scholarships to over 150 people in Northern Utah.

The Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit.  We are supported by, but separate from Snowbasin Corporation.  If you know someone who might be interested in Adaptive lessons, please call our Snowsports department at 801-620-1015, or visit the website www.snowbasinadaptive.org

Look for our Adaptive Instructors and students on the hill, you always see them smiling!
