There are two kinds of people in this world: those who love Diego’s Umbrella and those who soon will. Celebrated as San Francisco’s Ambassadors of Gypsy Rock, these world renowned entertainers have created an irresistible cocktail that is entirely their own.
Nominated for Best Jazz Artist 2013 in the San Diego Music Awards, The Earful is a high powered, in your face, shake your booty machine that will funk you just right. Formed in late 2008, The Earful touches on various styles of the funk in all of its forms and pays tribute to the masters. Having shared the stage with amazing talent such as Soulive, Level 42, Groundation, Orgone, The Aggrolites and Les Nubians, they bring a paint peeling, barn burning intensity that is unforgettable. The all star lineup features members of The Mars Volta, The Devastators, and B-Side Players. With heavy sound of the Hammond Organ, the funky bass lines, and the stabbing brass hits of this 7 piece group are sure to get your rump bumpin’.
Folk Hogan is a high velocity, folk/punk band with a lively stage show that is widely appealing, and downright awesome. The six-piece lineup consists of Accordion, Mandolin, Bass, Banjo, Guitar, and Drums. Folk Hogan brings a mix of experienced entertainers, humor, and whiskey that will keep a crowd dancing while wishing they had a backup liver.
