Snowbasin, for the second year in a row, is hosting the final stop of the Intermountain Cup Race Series. This XC Mtn Bike race consists of a 8.5 mile loop of single track across the lower mountain with the start and finsih right above the Grizzly Center. The race covers most age levels and expertise by divisions. Their will be an awards ceremony, BBQ, and live music after the race around noon. So come out to Snowbasin to cheer your favorite racer on or take the challenge yourself. For more information on the ICup series and the Finals at Snowbasin check the link below:
Snowbasin will be celebrating America’s independence with a Rail Jam at Earl’s Lodge base area on July 3rd. Open to both skiers and snowboards Snowbasin will be supported by Blindside, NEFF, LRG, and Salomon to name a few. So get your rail set up out because we are going to have a real good time with this one! Snowbasin will also have a BBQ and music by the Kap Brothers for your entertainment on the 3rd.(Details below)

Kristi Devries will take the stage from 1pm – 5pm with tunes the entire family will enjoy. Season pass sales will also kick-off on Father’s Day! Buy your pre-season discounted pass for the 2010/2011 winter season, and use it for unlimited summer gondola access. Summer only season passes are also available, and will make a great gift for dad.
Snowbasin will open gondola operations on the following Saturday, June 26th.
Celebrate the coming of spring with an all you can eat BBQ at Needled Lodge on Saturday, March 27th from 4:30 – 7pm. Take in the view, enjoy a great meal, and ski down as the full moon rises! No reservation necessary. Lift ticket required, and dinner is $25/pp.
Dinner guests should be ready to load Needles Gondola at 4:30pm. Gondola access will not be available for late comers or non-skiers/boarders. Following the feast, two groups will be guided down the mountain in the moon light!
