Lukas Nelson, with his band Promise of the Real, return to Snowbasin Resort to play a FREE outdoor concert on the Patio of Earl’s Lodge as part of our Blues, Brews, & BBQ Sunday Concert Series on June 30th. For those not familiar with Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real they have played festivals and concerts all over the US bringing a high power Blues & Rock n Roll performance to the stage that is hard to match. But,the entertainment does not stop there opening for Lukas is Andy Frasco and the UN with their own amazing stage presence of Party Blues and fun for all to enjoy. Andy & the UN will start at 12:30pm with Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real at 3:30pm.

Snowbasin is proud to announce the 2013 Blues, Brews, & BBQ’s summer entertainment list. Join us every Sunday from noon until 5:00 pm as we transform the Patio at Earl’s Lodge into a “FREE” concert venue that takes-on an inspiring festival-like atmosphere.  Both Nationally touring artists as well as regionally touring acts take the stage as headliners while local musical artists will open the afternoon with a set of their own.  Besides the great FREE music, there will be hearty and delicious BBQ inspired entrees complemented by local Utah Craft Beers. So, bring your blankets, chairs and sunglasses to enjoy the afternoon of good food and music for the whole family!

Snowbasin, for the thrid year in a row,  is hosting the final stop of the Inter-mountain Cup Race Series on August 4th.  This XC Mtn Bike race consists of a 8.5 mile loop of single track across the lower mountain with the start and finsih right above the Grizzly Center.  The race covers most age levels and expertise by divisions.  Their will be an awards ceremony, and BBQ, and after the race around noon.  So come out to Snowbasin to cheer your favorite racer on or take the challenge yourself.  For more information on the ICup series and the Finals at Snowbasin check the link below:

Its that time of year again when the days are a little longer and  the nights a little shorter.  It is also that time again for the “Twilight BBQ and Ski/Snowboard Down” at Snowbasin.  So join us on March 24th at Needles Lodge from 4 pm to 7pm for a great outdoor BBQ and then ride down the mountain in the spring twilight. Event participants may purchase a $10 lift ticket from 4 – 4:15 p.m day of the event. The last gondola ride will depart at 4:30, and the gondola will not run after 4:45 p.m.  All participants must ski or snowboard down. Lift passes purchased on March 24th will be valid for the event, as well as season passes.

Cost for the barbecue for adults is $25 and children 6 and under is $12.50
