Due to construction for improved wireless service, Becker and Elk Ridge trails and the upper section of Green Pond Loop will be impacted for the next 3 weeks, starting June 26th. Trails will remain open, but please be aware of construction activity. Some sections of trail may require stopping for construction equipment or a short walk.

We will update the status of the construction impact on trails regularly. Thank you!

Culinary Expedition: Farm-to-Table Dining

Take a culinary expedition of Northern Utah’s locally sourced food, designed and prepared by the Snowbasin culinary team in four courses. Talk with the purveyors of these delicious local items and discuss why local is better!

The menu will include a local cheese plate from Gold Creek Farms in Kamas, Utah, Smoked Duck Breast Glazed with Slide Ridge Honey and salt harvested from the Great Salt Lake, Mountain Valley Trout from Smithfield, Utah, a Yak, Apple & Gorgonzola Meatloaf with spicy bourbon peach glaze with Yak from Yakety Yak Farm in Huntsville, Utah, and more. All produce will be sourced from local farm stands and Borski Farms in Kaysville, Utah. Purveyors include Borski’s Farm Produce, Morgan Valley Lamb, Fog River Salmon, Beehive Cheese, Gold Creek Cheese, Daily Rise Coffee Co., Lehi Roller Mills, Creminelli Fine Meats, and Cox Honey Farms.

Culinary Expedition: Wine Maker’s Dinner with Iron Gate Wines

Part of our Culinary Expedition: Spirit & Food Pairings, the first Wine Maker’s Dinner will feature Iron Gate Wines from Utah. This is a unique opportunity to learn about wine from the person who knows them best, the wine maker.

The meal is perfectly paired with a flight of wine, expertly chosen by the wine maker himself. The meal includes hors d’oeuvres while meeting the wine maker, a presentation of the wine flight by the wine maker, followed by a four course dinner paired with the wine. The Wine Maker’s Dinner is $75 per person and includes the suggested paired wines, taxes, and gratuity. Wine from Iron Gate Wines will also be available for sale. The Wine Maker’s Dinner presented with Iron Gate Wines will be Friday, July 25th at 6:00 pm.

Dining Discovery: Explore your Cravings

We are revamping our summer dining with the new Dining Discovery: Explore your Cravings program. The Dining Discovery program will encompass many aspects of dining at Snowbasin Resort and include Culinary Expeditions, Cooking and Eating Classes, Mountain Top Brunches,  Burger Spa, and Spirit & Food Pairing Series.

The Dining Discovery: Culinary Expedition dinners will replace the weekly Saturday night dining at Needles Lodge, with several events throughout the summer, each with its own theme. These top of the gondola dinners are an exciting and unique experience, with live music and atmosphere to give a taste of the culture that encompasses the designated cuisine.

Sunday Mountain Top Brunch

The Mountain Top Brunch has been reinvented this summer and will be better than ever! Brunch is in Needles Lodge at the top of Needles Gondola every Sunday from June 22nd – October 5th from 10 am – 2:30 pm. Each week, the chefs pick out the freshest local ingredients to create inspired and inventive dishes, delivering a new experience every Sunday.

The Mountain Top Brunch price is $38 for adults and $18 for youth (ages 6-11), which includes the all you can eat brunch, gondola ride, tax, gratuity and non-alcoholic beverages. For summer pass holders, the price is just $33 for adults and $15 for youth (6-11). Ages 5 and under are free.

Have a whole day packed with fun at Snowbasin Resort staring with Mountain Top Brunch, an exciting scenic gondola ride, enjoying one of the many activities available in the fresh alpine air, and a free outdoor concert to end the great day.

2014 Free Summer Guided Tours

Like a little adventure in your weekend? Care to learn about the inner workings of a Ski Resort, take a new route hiking, or just want to see what happens here during the summer? On a summer guided tour we can answer all of these questions and much more.  Discover Snowbasin’s extensive history, the science of snowmaking, or see what wildlife comes out when all the snow melts.   Meet our tour guide every Saturday & Sunday at 1 pm at the Moose in front of Earl’s Lodge from June 21st through September 28th.  So, Come join Snowbasin Resort for the chance to learn and experience our summer fun and deep history. Season Pass printing will be available again starting June 14th

Resort Update: Snowbasin Resort Season Pass Desk is closed until we reopen for summer, June 14th. No season pass printing will be available until then.

The Grizzly Center Retail Shop will be open this weekend, April 26th and 27th, but no season pass printing will be available.

Starting May 1st, there will be no services available at Snowbasin Resort with the exception of Mother’s Day Brunch. There will not be Season Pass printing on Mother’s Day.

Blues, Brews, & BBQ Sunday Concert Series 2014

Snowbasin Resort is proud to announce the 2014 Blues, Brews, & BBQ’s summer entertainment list. Beginning Father’s Day June 15th through September 28th join us every Sunday from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm as we transform the lawn adjacent to Earl’s Lodge into a “FREE” concert venue that takes-on a festival-like atmosphere.  Come up and enjoy music from nationally touring artists such as The Shook Twins & Lukas Nelson as well as regionally touring acts like the Kap Brothers & the Codi Jordan Band.  New this year, Snowbasin Resort will be adding fun activities for the family such as a children’s playground, Euro Bungee & bouncy houses just to name a few.  But, don’t forget there will be hearty and delicious BBQ complemented by local Utah Craft Beers. So, bring your blankets, chairs and sunglasses to enjoy the afternoon of good food and music for the whole family!

***No outside food or beverage allowed in the music venue or the lodge.  Utah State Law prohibits the possession and consumption of outside alcohol including beer & wine on premise.  Bags may be subject to search at the music venue gate and any alcohol or outside food may be confiscated.  Dogs are allowed in the music venue, but they must be on a leash at all times, and they must stay on the grassy areas.  Dogs are never allowed in the lodges or on the patio.
