As winter creeps to an end and spring starts to blossom, it’s almost time for the 2012-2013 winter season to come to a close. Snowbasin will be celebrating this season with a “Totally Rad End of Season Throwdown.” This event will be taking place the last two weekends of the season, April 6th & 7th and April 13th & 14th. We encourage everyone to dress up in their best throwback 80′s attire and live it up like it’s 1985 all over again. The festivities will begin Saturday April 6th with spring skiing, delicious food and a barbeque on Earl’s Patio, a reggae mix from the Nate Robinson Trio, and the opportunity for you to strike a pose in our Totally Rad 80′s Retro Photo Booth. But, the party does not stop there, we will be picking up the party again on April 13th with the FREE concert featuring Fox Street All Stars playing a funky groove for everyone to enjoy beginning at 3:00 pm. Finally, on April 14th Snowbasin Resort’s last day of the 2012-13 winter season we will be celebrating with a DJ & costume contest turning the party up! The costume contest will begin at 2 pm on Earl’s Patio with fun prizes for the best and raddest costumes on all the mountain.

John Paul Lodge will be reducing its restaurant services for the remainder of the 2012-13 season. John Paul will be offering Pizza & Soups Monday Through Friday with Grill Items, Pizza, & Soups on Saturdays and Sundays. Pasta and Salad items will no longer be offered at John Paul Lodge for the remainder of the 2012-13 season.

There is no better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than to take your mom to brunch at Earl’s Lodge on Sunday, May 12th. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and elegance of Earl’s Lodge while dining on plates from leg of lamb to crepes (Click HERE for full menu). This grand buffet will also be complemented with live music.

Lukas Nelson, with his band Promise of the Real, return to the Wasatch on St. Patrick’s Day to play a FREE outdoor concert on the patio of Earl’s Lodge. Lukas is no stranger to Utah as he has played to several large shows in the Park City and Salt Lake areas. From large sell-out crowds all over the country, countless festivals, and everything in between, he lands on March 17th in Huntsville UT for a free outdoor après ski show for the ages. Snowbasin is honored and proud to be hosting this live music event. And moreover, Snowbasin is extremely excited to be sharing this event with it’s loyal patrons. This is our way of saying thank you and supporting us this season.
Along with the concert, beverages, multiple food stations, and a VIP area (tickets $20) will be available on the patio that day with plenty of St. Patrick’s Day Shenanigans. The VIP area will be serving a full bar; and besides great exclusive viewing, a take home refillable cup will be part of the package as well as a CD signing from Lukas Nelson and Members of Promise of the Real at the end of the show. VIP tickets will be available to purchase in Earl’s Lodge beginning March 1st.

Welcome the springtime in style with the annual Snowbasin Easter Buffet on Sunday, March 31st.
