Walking/Hiking with Poles: Learn the different uses and techniques.

Come learn how to use poles to maximize your work out, reduce stress, and have fun! Walking or hiking with poles is an activity that can be enjoyed by anyone, from those recovering from injuries to elite athletes who are cross training. Walking with poles can burn up to 77% more calories than walking alone, and activate up to 90% of the body’s muscles. It can be used for stabilization and can drastically reduce stress on the lower extremities. Come and learn how to walk with poles and the benefits of this activity!
