Wildflowers of Snowbasin Resort

Enjoy Snowbasin Resort’s diverse landscape with numerous wildflowers, shrubs and trees with an experienced guide. Along the way, flowers and other plants will be identified and the effects of weather, wildlife and environment will be discussed. This tour has something for everyone. The hike leaves from the top of the Needles Gondola and depending on the group, can either return to Needles for a scenic ride back down or the hike can continue to the base area. Length and difficulty can be adjusted to fit the group. The quantity and quality of Snowbasin’s wildflowers are entirely weather dependent. More moisture means more flowers. Purchase ‘Wild Snowbasin’ in the Grizzly Center to follow along.

Difficulty: Moderate to strenuous

Duration: 2-4 hours

(On mountain activity. Lift ticket is required.)

*Tours meet Saturday & Sundays 1 pm at the Moose.  Bring hiking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, snacks and water. Tours last from 1-4 hours. Tours in the base area do not require a gondola ticket.
