On a Snowbasin guided tour you can learn about what the resort has to offer during the summer. Discover Snowbasin’s extensive history, the science of snowmaking, or see what wildlife comes out when all the snow melts. Meet your tour guide every Saturday and Sunday at 1pm at the Moose in front of Earl’s Lodge from June 22nd through September 29th. Come join Snowbasin for the chance to learn and experience our summer fun and deep history. Best of all its FREE!
*Bring hiking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, snacks and water. Tours last from 1-4 hours. Tours in the base do not require a gondola ticket.
This hike starts and finishes on Snowbasin’s trail system but, in between, you will be bushwhacking through a wild meadow and slogging (in the best way) through some marshy areas and streams. You will see beaver dams and lodges and hopefully some of Snowbasin’s diverse wildlife. There may also be the opportunity to see the USFS yurt along the way. Water resistant footwear and a long-sleeved shirt is recommended for this hike.
Duration: 2 hours
(Base area activity. Lift ticket is not required.)
