Snowbasin Resort in conjunction with the Snowbasin Adaptive Education Foundation will be hosting an On-Snow Demo on Saturday, March 16 featuring 12 ski and snowboard manufactures such as Burton, Rossignol and Head. The cost is $20 to demo different equipment all day with “Proceeds to Benefit Snowbasin Adaptive Education Foundation”! So come out test some great ski and snowboard products and help donate to a great cause!
Midweek Pass Holders:
Snowbasin will be opening the mountain on Saturday March 16th to mid-week season pass holders so they can have the opportunity to test some of the best ski and snowboard equipment as well as donate to a great cause.
Snowbasin will be hosting a blood drive on Thursday March 7th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Huntington Room of Earl’s Lodge. To make an appointment, please contact Steward Marsh at 801.710.6797. Contributors need the following to participate: Photo ID, minimum of 110 pounds, 18 years old or older, remember to eat well and drink extra fluids before.

Snowbasin will be hosting a Super G Race Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the John Paul Area of the resort for ages 14 and under. We will have some of the following trails either closed or with limited access. Starting at the bottom Wildflower Run accessed continuing down Draba Drop along with City Hill will be closed to the public. You will still be able to ski Wildflower but will need to exit through Parson’s Run to Blue Grouse. Once on Blue Grouse you will have skier’s right side access into Showboat accessing Little Cat Terrain Park and the bottom of Wildcat Bowl leading to the base area. Lukas Nelson, with his band Promise of the Real, return to the Wasatch on St. Patrick’s Day to play a FREE outdoor concert on the patio of Earl’s Lodge. Lukas is no stranger to Utah as he has played to several large shows in the Park City and Salt Lake areas. From large sell-out crowds all over the country, countless festivals, and everything in between, he lands on March 17th in Huntsville UT for a free outdoor après ski show for the ages. Snowbasin is honored and proud to be hosting this live music event. And moreover, Snowbasin is extremely excited to be sharing this event with it’s loyal patrons. This is our way of saying thank you and supporting us this season.
Along with the concert, beverages, multiple food stations, and a VIP area (tickets $20) will be available on the patio that day with plenty of St. Patrick’s Day Shenanigans. The VIP area will be serving a full bar; and besides great exclusive viewing, a take home refillable cup will be part of the package as well as a CD signing from Lukas Nelson and Members of Promise of the Real at the end of the show. VIP tickets will be available to purchase in Earl’s Lodge beginning March 1st.

Welcome the springtime in style with the annual Snowbasin Easter Buffet on Sunday, March 31st. The buffet is a pleasure to both the eye as well as the palate featuring ice sculptures and culinary items such as slow roasted top round of beef au jus, made to order omelettes, a seafood display and a holiday bread and cookie display (see the full menu HERE).
