Snowbasin Closing Date Band Announced

Snowbasin will be closing on Sunday April 17th and to celebrate another record season we will be providing music by local favorites the Kap Brothers.  They will be playing on the patio at Earl’s Lodge from 11:30am-2:30pm weather permitting.  So come out and get one last ski or snowboard day in before Snowbasin closes for the snow season and listen to some great local music.

Easter Sunday Brunch April 24th

Welcome the springtime in style with the annual Snowbasin Easter Buffet on Sunday, April 24th. The buffet is a pleasure to both the eye as well as the palate featuring ice sculptures and culinary items such as roasted leg of lamb with minted bordelaise, handmade cheese blintz with berry compote, a seafood display and a holiday bread and cookie display (see the full menu below).

Cost for the buffet is $35 for adults, $17 for children and no charge for children 6 and under. Reservations may be made from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Seating is limited so please call for reservations at 801-620-1021.

Carving Station – slow roasted top round of beef with au jus, roasted turkey breast with cranberry orange compote, roasted leg of lamb with minted bordelaise, mashed potatoes with gravy

Hot Line – Eggs Benedict, handmade cheese blintz with mixed berry compote, fresh bacon and maple link sausage, stuffed chicken breast with mushroom duxelles over rice pilaf with marsala sauce, grilled salmon filet on vegetable ragout, classic potatoes O’Brien

Omelets and eggs to order – bacon, green onions, diced peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, ham and cheddar cheese

Crepes made to order – peach and mixed berry served with fresh whipped cream

Seafood display – house made smoked salmon and seafood terrine, poached shrimp, crab legs with lemon and cocktail sauce

Salads and appetizers – fresh seasonal fruit tray, cheese tray with crackers and crustini, baby greens with assorted topping and dressings, Caesar salad, Caprese salad platter with balsamic reduction

Holiday bread display – accompanied by homemade dipping sauces and oils, vegetables and fruits

Shortcake and berry station – fresh angel food cake and shortcakes with choices of fresh berries, vanilla custard and mascarpone cream

Desserts – carrot and crisp walnut torte, chocolate ricotta Bavarian, apple raisin galette
