Field day – Snowbasin Ski Patrol – January 22nd - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Topics include: Using the UAC forecasts, Snowbasin avalanche dog and avalanche control program, and observations of avalanche terrain in and around Snowbasin
For those with advanced riding skills, beacon, shovel and probe, field day topics will include partner rescue, side country tour involving hazard assessment, safe travel techniques, and snowpack observations. (Limited to the first 18 people)
Lift ticket or season pass is required for the field day. Field day terrain and observations will be weather dependent.
