Old Snowbasin Road Now Open
Old Snowbasin Road opened early this year! Typically, the road is open to traffic beginning June 1st. With significant amounts of snow remaining on the trails at Snowbasin, the lower trails should dry out and be ready to ride first. Old Snowbasin Road is another option for early season bike riding, or scenic drives. Snowbasin will officially open on June 26th, with a pre-season Father’s Day BBQ on June 20th. Come on spring!

WHY? So that there will be more people on the mountain. One of the best advantages of SB is that there is no over priced, luxury homes that are only occupied 2 weeks a year. Go to Park City if you want housing development.

On of the reasons SB is the “coolest ski resort in NORTH AMERICA” is the lack of development and hotels at the base area. I enjoy the small, hometown, “corner bar” feeling I get every day I ski up there. I also truly enjoy the lack of crowds.
