Snowbasin Report – March 5th
The Skiing Bride and Boarding Groom at Snowbasin
Snowbasin received between 3-10 inches of snow on Thursday night. Early birds were able to find fresh tracks all over the mountain, with nice pockets of powder in the trees of John Paul and off the top of the Strawberry Gondola. Visibility was an issue on the top half of the mountain for the first part of the day, clearing up quite a bit in the afternoon. Snow coverage was limited on some aspects with a crusty layer underneath. Fun turns could be had but you really had to look where you were going to avoid sticky and crusty areas. Still more pow for tomorrow.
