Are you planning on doing something a bit more organized than last year? Last year was a mess. We waited in line for over 2 hours and then the food ran out so we simply got scraps. I would like very much for this to become a family tradition, but not if it is as it was last year. We’ll give you one more chance.

  2. Cheryl Dimmitt Says:

Are you offering any vegetarian dishes on Christmas Eve?

  3. longdaddy Says:

Last year the lines to get food were excessive (really long); is there a revised plan this year to funnel people through the line to get food more quickly?

  4. jholmgren Says:

Despite a big storm, crowds definately exceeded our expectations last year for the Christmas Eve Celebration. We will be staffed up and ready to better serve our guests this year. Please expect big crowds, and we will do our very best to make it an enjoyable experience!

  5. jholmgren Says:

Yes! We will be serving a vegetarian option on Christmas Eve. Grilled Portobello Napoleon, with hand pulled Mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes ragout. $15

No reservations necessary for Christmas Eve. We are bringing in additional seating to try and accomodate everyone. I will look forward to seeing you then!

  8. Mary Says:

Really looking forward to this, as we will be in the area from the 20th through New Year’s. Also, are you planning on the Saturday buffets at Needles this year?

  9. Bryce Says:

Really interested in the Christmas eve events. Please list more details about the torchlight parade, who, what, when and where….
Looking forward to skiing with ya’ll on Christmas eve!

  10. jholmgren Says:

You will be able to watch the torch light parade come down the mountain from Earl’s Plaza followed by Santa’s arrival by sleigh at 6pm. Fireworks will be at 6:30pm. Very festive! Plan on a big crowd, and dress warmly!

  11. Bryce Says:

Who will be skiing in the light parade? General public possibly???

  12. jholmgren Says:

We want our guest to sit back and relax and enjoy the show! Ski patrol and instructors (approx 50) will be skiing in the light parade.
